In 1953, Abdel Fatah Idelbi, a confectioner from Damascus in Syria, set up his small factory of Halva Al Sheraa (the Sailboat) in Tartous, on the shores of the Mediterranean.

Over the years, it is with love and enthusiasm that he passed on to us his knowledge and his passion for his trade.

Since then, the small family business has continued to grow by producing a HALVA of high quality known on the whole Syrian coast, as well as TAHINI, which is its base.

Today in Belgium, building on our years of experience, we continue the manufacturing of our artisanal sesame paste as well as a wide range of traditional sweets.
